Not A Meerkat Monday #9: Camels

While camels are at home in desert-like environments the Kalahari Desert is not included in their native rage. Camels can live to be 50 years old and have only two toes. There are three camel species but the dromedary camel known for its single hump is the most widely distributed. Camels humps are actually made of stored fatty deposits to help them survive when resources are scarce. I wonder what the meer would call them if they saw one? Let’s see, elephants are giants, rhinoceros are titans, and giraffes are gods… ? (Leave your best guess in the comments!)
