Though ring-tailed lemurs are from Africa as well as meerkats the similarities stop there. These quirky primates’ natural habitat is the island of Madagascar. They eat a diet of insects, fruits, and leaves and their life spans around about 16 years. These animals are highly social and endangered in the wild.
