Who are they?
Who am I?
Who are you?
They are the demons,
the cravers of the dark.
They are the shadows
sapping all the hope.
They are the greedy,
all they need is more.
I am the keeper,
I control the dark things.
I am the savior,
dousing all their longing.
I am the enemy,
igniting their flames.
You are the villian,
reeking of every single sin.
You are the hero,
only trying to do the right thing.
You are the sacrifice
that will help them sleep tonight.
So, what do you say?
Take my hand and let me guide,
Trust me and let me help you.
Deny me and they will devour you.
Tell me,
who are the real bad guys here?
The ones wearing the masks
or the ones brave enough to show their true faces?
